G'day all,

Been watching this forum for a while now and thought I should join.

I am located north of Adelaide South Australia; or for those that are partial to Aussie wine, very close to the Barossa Valley.

I have been involved with astrophotography for the last 2 years to varying success.

My setup is a Skywatcher HEQ5 pro mount and a ED80 blackdiamond APO. I use an Orion 80mm scope with Starshoot auto guider. My imaging camera is a unmodified Canon 700D.

Software of choice at the moment is:

Mount control - internal Synscan

Camera control - Backyard EOS

Auto guiding - PHD2

Stacking - CCD stack 2

Photo editing - Photoshop

I have attached a single 15 min exposure (unedited) I took of the Trifid and Lagoon Nebula's back in June from the Southern Flinders rangers (Outback South Australia).

Also included a pic of my setup.

I enjoy looking at images on this forum of objects that I cannot see from the Southern latitudes and I hope to share some objects that are not visible in the North.
