Personally I would use the TAK 102S for imaging and the C9.25 for visual. The Tak I believe is f7.5 which is a good mid range focal length for imaging and if you purchased a focal reducer say 0.8 would then give an f6, this is good for a wide range of nebula and galaxies. The C9.25 is f10 which is very limiting for imaging due to narrow fov, also guiding/tracking an f10 is more problematic than for f7.5 / f6. You will eventually need a guide scope and camera for imaging longer subs, Dave -
You have some very nice images using your Evostar 120 achromat, I normally image with an ED80 but also have an Evostar 120 achromat. I am considering using and it after seeing your work look forward to the new season. One question have you ever used a 0.85 focal reducer with the 120 when imaging -
