Huge solar mosaic (126 frames), 24th April

This one nearly ground me down! 126 frames in total @ f/33 with the SF-70 filter.

There really isn't any words that adequately describe how I feel about that image.

That must be the absolute pinnacle of solar images. I doubt that there are many professional observatories that could produce something that good!

I'm going to look at the large version everyday Pete. Perhaps it will give me a suntan, because that big orb is a rarity in the Cumbrian skies of late.

It's a tremendous creation, and I bet it was a tiring task, but as with all your images, we get the rewards,

and you get worn out.

Well Pete you managed to get a second 'WOW' from my 21 month old lad. He was sat on my lap when I was going through the forums images. He saw your picture said wow then sun followed by hot.
