Hi to all, I am Darren from Loughborough
I am a photographer and have started to look up at night more these day's as I'm new I don't really know the best places to observe  the sky at night in the uk?

Try and find a dark site, go a little way into the countryside away from towns and sources of light pollution.

Kilchoen, Ardnamurchan is a great place for a stargazing holiday. When you get a cloudless sky it's amazing,  no light pollution at all. We set up camp in the garden of the littlt pub, with permission of the landlord.
