Hi Im Denis from west sussex, joining startgazers with my shiny new orion skyquest xt6 after Ive just had a good glimse at jupiter and four moons around it, I could make out the cloured bands just about but hoping to buy a good barlow lens and improve what I can see. Ive always loved the thought of stargazing and I always watch anything about space on tv.

Between my "night sky lite" phone app and the scope I was so chuffed to have located and seen what Ive seen so am hoping this forum and its members can help me learn more and see more. Cheers

Hi Denis and welcome to SGL - There's loads of tutorials and information on the forum to help you get the most out of your kit. Also, if you get stuck, just shout and someone will be able to help. Sounds like you are loving it already!
