Hello! I'm Mark from Barrow-in-Furness here in the UK. Recently bought my 1st 'scope, a Celestron Traveller 70 for myself and my family. Really looking forward to getting to know the night sky with this!!!

Hi Mark welcome to the lounge,

there's lot's to learn, but you are in the right place,

good luck with your new scope, hope the weather is

better than here, cloud and rain, not good at all.

Clear Sky's (soon I hope)

I used to have a Celestron Travelscope 70 - nice little number but the supplied tripod was awful so I'd recommend getting a good quality photographic tripod (assuming you don't have an astronomical mount...)
