Hello. I'm from Sunderland too, though living in Washington now. If you haven't already, get yourself along to the SAS meetings at the Washington Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust. We're an active group, with plenty of public and private observing events. There's an open night of lectures and observing tonight from 6:30pm, and our normal meetings are the second and third Sunday of the month from 7pm.
