Hi everyone at SGL

Just recently I have ploughed head long into atrophotography and splurged on a QHY8L, a QHY5 and an NEQ6 mount. I have a 10" dob that I have managed to load onto the NEQ6 and also a 10" SCT OTA that I also have mounted via the same tube rings. In the last 6 weeks I have had just 3 hours of observing due to the atrocious weather of late but I did get some images which I was more than happy with. Anyone at astronomyshed will have read my report on these first attempts and hopefully picked up on my excitement. It was a truly awesome moment when I first saw M101 appear on my PC screen after my first 30 second exposure!
