I know you have not asked for recommendations but if you have any spare funds then a Telrad will make your life much more enjoyable when it comes to pointing the scope in the right place.

feel free to create threads etc if you have any problems in use or finding targets - that's what SGL is all about - helping your astro-buddies (and of course talking shop!).
