That is certainly true, retailers must love cloudy weather :D. It's not so much about change but focus if that makes sense.

    1. todd8137

      todd8137

That would be a great move ,most of the last five years as been moon based and I never get bored of looking at imaging or talking about it

  18. Oh for a clear night, this is getting beyond a joke

    1. Uplooker

      Uplooker

How long has it been? Only a week for me. I have been teased on a number of occasions, looks as if it going to be clear, then not - only after I have set up though.

  19. Light pollution at new house is killing astro for me

    2. Qualia

      Qualia

Ay, I think there's some law about that kind of thing, Jules. I don't want to be a downer but it looks like the UK will be hit by quite a lot of cloud over the next few days and into next week :-(

  22. Had a short session outside with the little swift 839, i think i have it working very sweetly now, great little 60mm frac

    1. Qualia

      Qualia

Sounds great. Glad you got a session in. It's been raining all day and night here. Do you have plans for the 60mm? Will it be a grab n go, something to store in other places to use, a nice widefield?

    2. nightfisher

      nightfisher

it is grab an go, plan to do a little luna imaging with it, nice to use a quality 49 year old scope

    4. Naemeth

      Naemeth

Ah, will it have to be mounted on the HEQ-5 then?

  25. Forcast was for clear skies from 10pm so as its been so long i went to dark site, watched the rain, and some great lightning, sky never cleared, but there will be another time
