  1. Handy to know but I'll just use the cigar cable that comes with the Pegasus, it'll give me more length to work with. Thanks for all your help.
  2. Thanks Stuart, I've been googling supplies and forgot about Dew Control, looks like Pegasus just had an XT-60 patched on afterwards.
  3. Gotcha. Going to order one now and a mains supply, power tank ran out halfway through tonights session. Not sure it charged properly earlier !
  4. Thanks Stuart, forgot to say I'm a Mac man. So simply add it in to the profile in the Auxillary and pick the right driver.
  5. I had the same issue and remember that thread. I think you unscrew the tube bit, then the retaining ring and flip it. In the end I didn't do it because when the stars are in focus the cross hairs show as double so that you can see the star dead centre.
  6. Great effort, I think it might be over saturated colours and contrast. Tweak them down and see how it looks.
  7. Excellent sketch, worth a frame and wall space I think.
  8. I'm in two minds on this but well worth doing just to see how it looks. Maybe less stars might be better.
  9. Really a superb image, well done.
  10. Hi all, anyone set up a UPB V2 in Ekos? I'm planning on getting one to tidy everything up but can't really find much on the web about setting it up with Ekos. Primarily what to put in the Profile in Ekos and do you need to set up the parameters first in the Pegasus software. 11. I agree with @noah4x4 about the computer, it will definitely struggle. I was having problems with my MacAir 1.8Ghz Dual Core i5 4GB Ram but I do have more kit to cope with so got a MacBook Pro and it works so much better.
  12. Is that a galaxy I see top left corner?
  13. I think a scope might be easier to focus but then again the fine focus jigs seem to work well on the Samyang.
  14. Plusgas, over 50 years old and still the best. Not sure about the new colour cans, looks a bit Halfrauds.
  15. That is a lovely image, nice gentle colours and good star colour range.
  16. Any brighter and I'd call it a white hole.
  17. Also want to say that the Berlebach is probably more stable.
