Excellent set of images, love Ca-k images especially. Don't seem to see as many in that wavelength as we used to.

Hi Aramit, sorry to hear you are having problems. As @Rusted said it does look "off band" if it was my Lunt i would just increae the Pressure tuning knob, obviously this does not apply to your scope. I don't have any experience with the scope you are using, but the focus also looks a bit off to in the 1st image. It could be the seeing conditions also were very poor at the time you imaged. How does look visually when you are using an eyepiece?

could you take a flat by pointing your scope away from the Sun, then moving back to Sun after?

Very nice, plenty of action going on there.

A fine way to end the year, some lovely detail in white and H/A.

very nice, getting very thin now, failed to find it last night mostly due to the clouds again.

I seldom find the conditions allow me to go above X300 with my C9.25, i am happy with the balance between brightness and detail this gives me.

If only my astronomy sessions were half as regular as my SGL visits 🙂

Tasco 4 1/2" reflector from my mums Great Universal club book, circa 1982. Paid off weekly for a couple of years i think. I gave it to a guy at work for his granddaughter around 30 years later.

I had a very very brief view this morning, the Proms did look very interesting. Shame about this weather, been a very poor end to the year Astro-wise. Well done for getting a look.
