  1. Very nice set of images, particularly love the Halo capture!
  2. A superb set of images, some lovely proms there.
  3. It is a beautiful sight through the eyepiece at the moment.
  4. Very nice Craig, its a difficult balancing act when processing these images.
  5. Very nicely captured, i think i also caught that feature as well. I also "overcooked" my image a little 🙂 but still pleased to have any details visible.
  6. Excellent images, just a shame they are all so low still.
  7. Both very tough targets, so a good effort to get a decent image at the moment.
  8. A easy spot last night just to the left of Venus, very annoying wind/clouds though! Looking forward to it climbing a little higher over the next week.
  9. Going to pass by Venus soon, so it will be fairly high in the sky for the next couple of weeks.
  10. GOING, GOING, soon to be gone!
  11. Changing so quickly now, it has been great fun with Venus this year. Loved sharing and seeing the images on here especially!
  12. 32 degrees heat when i brought the scope out of the obsy at 4:30pm, i winder why the view was a little "wobbly" Luckily later in the evening everything had cooled down somewhat! Mercury was a fairly easy spot around 8:30 below Venus. A superb contrasting view from the two inner planets. The giant slender crescent of Venus and the small gibbous disc of Mercury! Both planets captured with my C9.25, Asi290mm, X1.8 Barlow and Astronomik 807 filter.
  13. Looked pretty good last night as well, should be a great opportunity for anyone who hasn't seen mercury yet.
  14. Mercury is an easy spot right now in my 15x70's about 5-10 degrees high. Look around 15 degress below venus and to the right.
  15. Lovely detail in the Prom, very nicely captured.
