  1. A super rendition of the Monkey's Head lovely detail, perfect FOV
  2. I have to agree with Martin....A beautiful image detail lovely with nice and sharp stars . Colours in the central regions look perfect, but the outer areas seem a little too forced for me, the adjust seems to have run over into some of the outer stars too causing them to have bright red halos
  3. Lovely shot good colour balance and detail....
  4. Moisture on the sensor has left a stain across it....It just needs the sensor cleaning and re-purging....not difficult to do....just a pain to get it done!.
  5. Thank you for your comments. It was a crop from a wider field...I did have to deal with a big artefact which is actually on the sensor. It wouldn't calibrate out so the camera has got to go back to Moravian to fix it which is a bit of a pain.
  6. This is just stunning...I love everything about it, the framing, the process, the colour....just beautiful!
  7. I do prefer the top image out to the two, its beautiful and deep, I would also suggest you do a little less noise reduction, you have already highlighted your issues......A lovely image all the same.
  8. Wow what a beauty!.....there are so many in the southern hemisphere I'd love to image....Ill have to make the trip one day.
  9. M82 imaged with another one of the scopes I have built in Spain, taken in RGB and Ha, with the 17inch Planewave, L500 mount. Moravian 16803. All 5min unguided subs. just over four and a half hours each in RGB and nearly 6hours in Ha giving a total of 19 and a half hours. Cropped from the full frame. Processing in Pixinsight, Photoshop and Lightroom. Thanks for looking Peter Shah
  10. if that was my first image Id be very pleased....Great shot.... lovely detail....
  11. Lovely shot....i particularly like your colour balance
  12. Superb capture....its pretty deep
  13. I stopped using Darks on My old H35 as it doesn't have setpoint cooling....I found it could actually damage the signal in certain circumstances, I rely on a good heavy dither combined with a good reject stacking algorithm and some cosmetic correction in PI. However all of the other cameras with setpoint cooling I absolutely do use them as they do seem to make a big difference.
  14. Thanks Lee, I thought about a filter in on this rig but decided to try without first, but the skies there are about Bortle 2.5-3 depending on the conditions Thank you... Its been on my bucket list for a while... I started it a few years back with my AG12 but the focal length was so long the amount of frames need to get it all in was just too much.......the FSQ106 with a reducer and the full frame chip is just perfect for it.
  15. That threw me for a second it's so close....great job on splitting them
  16. You've done well to pull that out with that bright moon
