Belt mod, must be a different CG-4 drive, I have the motors that connect directly to the worm gear shaft, no spur gears.

Yes big difference using MS guiding.

On this night first time with MS guiding it was consistent at around .50 I was using my ST80 as guide scope and piggybacked my DSLR with 135mm lens.

Got 31x180s at ISO800 last week from a B 4 sky. stacked it with some data from my B 8 home sky, 26x360s ISO200.

Got a start on this target, 34x180s ISO800 K50, CGEM DX. gonna try and get more hours next new Moon.

Thanks Brown dwarf and Neutron star, I have been messing around with the hobby for a few years, mostly from my home Bortle 7-8 sky. Now that I have imaged from a 4 sky I don't want to bother from home anymore. I don't have any real processing skills , this was done in DSS then LR. I only used an old master Bias for calibration. Think I will make some flats today and maybe try some dark flats also. I see no real improvement using darks with the Pentax K50.

Thanks all, this was at my friends in NC . My main target for the night was M31, I checked focus then got 3 hours on it and was vary excited to see what I got. What I got was 62x180s with the mask still on the scope lol...
