  1. That's a really good image, well done. Not much wrong with your set up. Peter
  2. Some great detail captured. well done. Peter
  3. An IR luminance colour image of Saturn clearly shows the polar hexagon and Enke division. First time this year that seeing at 17 degs has been good enough to allow resolution of these features. Strangely the seeing for Jupiter was poor, but the turbulent NEB and Callisto can be seen. Peter
  4. Some great seeing allowed detailed views of Valles Marineris, Solis Lacus and Chryse areas. South polar cap quite irregular. Peter
  5. Smaller but nice colour balance and detail. Peter
  6. Great work, love the animation. Super detail for a C8. Peter
  7. Some great images there especially Mars. Well done. Peter
  8. I would agree that a subtle thin light edge is seen, however what I hate and can't get rid of is the thick bright ringing effect around the whole bright edge of Mars. This is definitely an artifact caused by diffraction and poor seeing jitter. You can see it clearly in my Mars images posted on this site. Peter
  9. Well done, good effort. I forgot about Uranus, got the other 3 though. Peter
  10. Hi Chris. Here is a good guide to using WinJUPOS https://www.skyatnightmagazine.com/astrophotography/astrophoto-tips/use-winjupos-derotate-planetary-images/ Peter
  11. Nice details coming through. Good colours. Peter
  12. Superb image. well done. great clarity and colour. Image cale looks large, what barlow are you using? Peter
  13. Nice image, smooth and not over processed. Peter
  14. Very nice, good colours and recorded the blue polar hood very well. Peter
  15. That's a great result with a 180 Mak. Lots of detail visible. Taking several images and combining in WinJUPOS would increase the smoothness. Peter
  16. Great shot, I love shadow transits and interesting to see how large and oval the shadow is because Ganymede is a large distance from the planet. Peter
  17. More good seeing allowing imaging lots of detail around Solis Lacus, Melas Lacuus and Lus Lacus. Peter
  18. Lovely images, the detail is definitely there around Solis Lacus. Peter
  19. Nice clear images. Just need a bit more focal length to get the image scale. Peter
  20. Thanks for the kind comments. It's all down to the seeing conditions. Peter
  21. Even so, that is a nice animation. Can see how the seeing changes over time as well. Peter
  22. Here are a colour and IR image of Mars taken on the 9th September. Solis Lacus is prominent in the images plus lots of detail in the surrounding regions. Thank goodness for Mars at 40 degs, Jupiter and Saturn have been hopeless recently. Peter
