  1. M45 imaged with unmodded Nikon D5200 on ED80 with 0.85x reducer. 28 x 4 min subs.
  2. Hi tooth_dr and others. This is a great tool. I have now installed it as a plug in to my PS2. Thank you! Peter
  3. Hi Allinthehead, what do you mean by "this image would benefit from scnr green or hlvg"? Peter
  4. Here is an image taken with a standard Nikon DSLR. 2rs of 4 min subs with ED80 Pro, dark subtracted only. I struggled a lot with light pollution removal during processing. Peter
  5. Great image, almost looks 3D with the moons. Peter
  6. That's an excellent image of Saturn at 14 degrees. I have heard that the seeing on the 19th was very good. well done. Peter
  7. Probably my last Jupiter image this year. Rippling seeing and 14 degrees! Peter
  8. Nice set of images. Great result from a 6" scope. Peter
  9. Saturn using an IR luminance image to get some detail, colours subdued as a result. Peter
  10. Amazed at some detail visible in this single image at only 11 degrees altitude. GRS and Ganymede's shadow visible. Best regards Peter
  11. Not too bad considering the altitude and poor seeing at the moment from the UK. As Aussie Dvae says, in a couple of years they will be higher and much easier targets. Peter
  12. Well done lovely shot for just 90mm aperture. Peter
  13. Congratulations, well done. A lovely image showing Cassini division in the rings. Peter
  14. Seeing was better for Saturn later in the evening. I still had to use an IR luminance channel to pull out the detail. Jupiter is in twilight and the seeing was very unsteady. Oval BA visible on Jupiter. Peter
  15. Poor seeing affects shorter wavelengths more than long, so the red channel and IR always look the sharpest. Try an IR 742 filter for even sharper images. Peter
  16. Here are a couple of images from last night. A notable dark area visible on the GRS. Peter
  17. Truly awesome images Darryl. Lovely GIF animation. Best wishes Peter
  18. A couple of images of Jupiter showing the GRS region and Io and it's shadow in transit. Peter
  19. Nice, image. Makes you realise what a great job the software does to pull that image from the wobbly fuzzball on the screen! Peter
  20. That's a good image of Saturn. considering the conditions at the moment from the UK. Peter
  21. Excellent images, some of the best from the UK this year. Peter
  22. Hi Geoff, Great image of Jupiter. Saturn looks harder than ever this year so well done for getting a reasonable image. Peter
