  1. Great image Pete, nicely processed. Getting Elysium Mons is excellent. Peter
  2. Some jittery seeing again but managed to tease out some details. Syrtis Major and Hellas Basin central, Mare Cimmerium on left and high orthoscopic clouds on RH limb indicated by slight irregularity. Revised processing, less intense. Peter
  3. Well done, captured the main features and few clouds. Peter
  4. Great images Geoff, loads of detail using the IR-Lum. Peter
  5. Some jittery seeing again but managed to tease out some details. Syrtis Major and Hellas Basin central, Mare Cimmerium on left and high orthoscopic clouds on RH limb indicated by slight irregularity. Peter
  6. Although we have had a few clear nights there has been some poor jetstream seeing suppressing fine detail. This is the best of the bunch showing Syrtis Major and the Hellas basin region with Sinus Meridiani on the right. Peter
  7. Definitely use WinJUPOS, you can easily combine 20 - 30 mins of videos to get a smoother result. Peter
  8. Great image well done because seeing has been bad with the jetstream overhead. I abandoned the last two sessions. Peter
  9. Good effort. You would definitely benefit from using an ADC. There is bad atmospheric dispersion in your video, red and blue fringes on opposite sides of planet. An ADC will go along way to correcting this. Peter
  10. Hi Darryl Great work, well done. A lovely record of Mars, almost enough to make a full 360 degree map. Weather has been poor here for the last few weeks with either rain/clouds or jetstream overhead. Peter
  11. Excellent, lovely detail across the disk. weather has been rubbish over here, rain then last night clear but massive jetstream. Peter
  12. Always need to tweak focus with each filter. The colours are brought to slightly different focus distances. Peter
  13. Solis Lacus dominates this hemisphere. Olympus Mons at lower right. Jittery seeing and windy conditions again. Peter
  14. A windy session with jittery seeing, but still managed to get some detail Can see the central crater on Olympus Mons just. Solis Lacis at upper left. Peter
  15. An image of Mars taken in jittery jetstream seeing. Nice clouds on both limbs. Peter
  16. Craig Very nice images. Good detail captured. Peter
  17. HI Geoff, Great images, lots of detail despite the jetstream being around. Peter
  18. Increasing image scale with a Barlow will help. Can't do anything about the clouds however. Peter
  19. Well done, a 3x or 5x Powermate will help increase image scale. Peter
  20. Great images. The red looks better than the IR, try a RRGB instead of IRRGB. Peter
  21. Spacecake2 - It's focal length and fine camera pixels. My focal length is close to 10,000 mm at the camera chip. With very small pixels, the image looks larger on the computer screen. Clever software does the rest. Peter
  22. Software managed to tease out some reasonable detail despite poor seeing due to high speed jetstream overhead. Peter
  23. Great work Craig, good rendition of Mars this opposition. Peter
