Having been playing about with Siril i redone same data on m20 ,processed in startools ,i have to say i quite like siril

Usb 5v 3amp power adapter for powering my Nikon D5300 , which will be powered by my deepskydad Dc power hub , took a few weeks but service spot on delivery updates via txt when it left China and arrived in uk 👍

If you buy a new 200p with duel focuser you get as standard a 1.25” eyepiece holder it is a two part adapter if you unscrew the barrel top piece you are left with a 2” base part all you need now is a t ring to attach to your camera https://www.firstlightoptics.com/adapters/t-rings.html Then the base part will screw into this , now insert into draw tube do screws up and your ready , on my 200pds with a canon 1000D approx 22mm of draw tube would be showing using a bahtinov mask you will get focus spot on .

Yes thanks , I’m so used to APT does what I need every thing works and hopefully once the indigosky side/dslr released even more so 👍

Hopefully 3.90 will soon update and release the ability to use apt/indigo sky via the pi4 with dslr

Deepskydad Dc power hub 2 neat little thing early Xmas present.

I use a qhy mini guide scope 130mm fl not had any problems very light and small .

Plate solving is nothing to do with guiding, I use Apt which has the ability to platesove built in once configured not used byeos so unsure if that has , I don’t even use a finder scope , i polar align using sharpcap, then switch to Apt take a picture blindsolve , sync mount I can now slew to any object and if I platesolve off a previous nights image and use Goto ++ in APT slew to within a few pixels its that accurate.

One for Redcat owners I see Pavel at deepskydad is refining the Redcat autofocuser may be of interest with crimbo approaching

i did my eq6 pro same as picture below ,im no sparky but managed to solder correctly and used multimeter to check polarity on power lead ,i used blutack around back of pcb to isolate the part to solder as i didnt trust my soldering skills worked a treat and blutac cleaned up a treat just make sure hole for fitting is in correct place and it does not snacg anything once fitted

You should be able to lock mirror up in menu

Apt has auto focusing tools , I use it all the time the Goto ++ is a god send too in APT , I pick a target from objects Use Goto ++ then name and save object in custom catalogue, then next outing of that target use the custom file .

My bad it’s telegizmo canvas on outside insulated on in plenty of air comes in at bottom letting it breathe 👍

I use a compression fitting on focuser insert laser so it’s lightly holding but still be able to turn then watch laser on primary so it spins around polo mark on mirror , adjust to suit if lasers out it becomes irrelevant ,then final check with Cheshire or colli cap

Invest in a gizmodo cover or similar , you need a bit of airflow , an Aldi shopping bag upside down works too , disclaimer other supermarket bags are available.

If you lived local and get it at a good price, help from a few mates your laughing , bit of sprucing up could transform this 👍 being fibreglass easily cut with a jigsaw and rebonded back together if need be . dust mask 😷 recommend

No you don’t if you’re dithering, and to be honest I take a batch of bias frames and keep them for a while before redoing, I just take flats on the night using a light panel , the during processing load the bias frames into the darks tab in DSS or what ever stacker you use , that seems to be the way to do it from reading on here .
