    Picked up a s/h gizmodo cover for my 200pds left it out for a prolonged period before no problem encountered

    Not in av ,camera still attached to scope nothing’s moved , so should be able to redo , can’t remember the reason I didn’t use AV mode but started to question myself whether they are correct.

    Tried phd2 predictive pec last night ,i was impressed better than i usually get though should have repolar aligned (semi permanent setup )

    If your power bank has two USB ports then buy a Y lead so if you have 2.1a on each port that gives you 4.2Amps

    If your power is only 2.1 a then this is probably your issue pi3 needs 2.5 a try a 3amp power supply which I think is what zwo recommend

    i'm using a canon 1000D modified, in DSS raw /fits settings what setting do i need to choose ? if i choose Digital rebel do i need to alter anything else bearing in mind camera is astro modified .

    Yes I now done deal I think it’s more dust than fungus, found a trick on YouTube that I will do anyway , lens is fine been out round the local reservoir testing 👍😁

    I used to use same combo the 1.25 extension that comes with scope, the barrel unscrews from the base , thread the 2” base on to the camera adapter job done

    @PeterCPC @Alien 13 @PhotoGavThanks chaps I think I will take a punt on it , my friend believes the auto focus does work though he mainly used manual focus so it may be that it not switched on I will have a better look later he upgraded to a 600mm lens if memory serves me right so this was collecting dust.

    I have been offered. 100-400 canon lens for £100 it does have some fungus marks and I don’t think Autofocus works , I took some pictures and they’re fine , obviously Af not working not a problem for Astro , is af really a problem for daytime use manual focus works fine , can fungus be cleaned off ? what do you think 🤔 buy or not .

    If your using Eqmod what speed have you set dec and Ra not sure what it’s called default is 0.10 for both try increasing these parameters if set to default, I’m sure someone will tell me what the correct name is .

    @alan potts seems I had made an error processing ivo Jager startools developer @jager945 has kindly given me advice on startools where I was going wrong and here is what he pulled from the same data set , I’m amazed and gobsmacked
