Jupiter 23-11-2015

After getting up twice to a cloudy sky it was third time lucky at 05:30, the sky looked clear but once I was outside I could see that there was still some cloud drifting around.  The scope cover was thick with frost and I almost went back to my lovely warm bed, but I needed my Jupiter fix, so I carried on!! 

Jupiter with the GRS, Ganymede to the lower left and the shadow on the disk.

8" SCT, 2x barlow + ext tube, ASI224.

Very nice early Jupiter Angie - lots of dedication in chasing the early morning seeing. Lots of promise for this camera towards opposition and looking forward to giving mine a good run soon :-)
