Hi-been looking at the stars for lots of years-just decided to do it with a telescope,celestron 130EQ.Any advice about deciphering the mysteries of collimation,aligning starfinders (what about the Telrad? much welcomed.

Welcome to SGL....I have just oredered a Telrad after much research..They seem to be very highly rated here and most people claim it to be their best purchase!!...Lots of people say whats the point in having a good scope and good eyepieces if you cant find anything!!...I ordered mine from here http://www.rothervalleyoptics.co.uk/telrad-reflex-finder_d2071.html

i have the telrad its great a use this along side the finder scope great tool and would not be with out it now and welcome from me

The Telrad is a good bit of kit, and really does help locating objects.

Just don't forget to turn it off at the end of a session, like I do!
