Hi all. My name is Chris Olson and I live in Washington north of Seattle. I bought an 8" Dob for my daughter for Christmas (said that all she wanted was a big telescope) and now I'm hooked too. It's a bit light polluted at home but there are some great dark sites in the mountains that I call home. Been thinking of doing some wide field imaging with my current camera stuff. But, the information out there on the subject is endless so here I am. Seems like a good and concise place to share and get some answers.
