Crescent Moon + Venus

I was just heading out for my early morning bike ride yesterday when I spotted a beautiful crescent moon hanging beneath Venus as dawn was breaking. This was too good to miss, so grabbed my camera instead of my bike and dashed out in to the road to get an interesting foreground.

Canon 1DS Mk3, 70-200 2.8 + 1.4 Converter.

Cracking picture. You've framed it superbly, and all the elements of the image blend so well. The Chimneys silhouetted against the sunset sky containing the lunar crescent complete with earth shine, and Venus herself. Just magic.
