  1. Absolutely stunning! Top of the pops would have been illuminated tarantulas crawling across the arch though
  2. Fantastic Werner, that looks really great! Had a wee chuckle at Sommermilchstraße und Wintermilchstraße :-)
  3. Great pics, I love the sillouettes in the foreground too.
  4. Congrats on your fantastic captures! I have got my mkII almost since it was released and I never regret buying it (have got the first 5D too (which I won in a comp back then) but the new one is much better for low light pics) You will love it, I am sure!
  5. Very impressive indeed! Olly has such a fantastic place to live.... Och well... one day...
  6. Its a keeper John! To me it looks like alien cityscape on a far away planet... Never thought that chimneys can play such tricks on one´s imagination
  7. I love startrails and when they mirror in a lake even better! Keep us posted about what you are doing next please.
  8. Here are two pics of the recent sheet lightning display over my hometown in Bavaria. The lightning show lasted well over 2 hours with hundreds of flashes in the moving clouds. Funny thing with this sort of lightning display is that you dont hear any thunder to go along with it. It was truly fascinating and the best one I have seen for many, many years. I have made a video ot it too. Originaly it is just over 7 minutes long, but it is playing twice the speed. See how man flashes you can count. I couldnt keep up after 20 seconds Sadly the weaker strikes are not as visible as I would have liked... watch it, I am sure you wont be diapointed on the lightning action Wetterleuchten on Vimeo This is a composite four pics together.
  9. Love it! Lightnings are always special!! Well done in catching them. We had a beautiful display yesterday night too...
  10. What an incredible selecton of shots! Well done indeed!
  11. Well done! 4 o´clock... way too early/late for me... Thanks for showing!
