I just had to have ago M51

Yes i know another M51 , but hey ,hang on, in all the years i have been imaging ,i have,nt got a decent M51 been mainly Nebula , so now i,m pleased at a nice result. taken over two night 24x8 min subs, using the Equinox120 ,and guide scope Equinox 80, PHD guiding,

processed in Maxim using 4% DDP , finished in Photoshop .

Well if you are going to give it a go... do it properly....

Just like you have with that one Nice collection of galaxys shots building up Rog and I like the FOV ... gives a a nice sense of "space" around them ....

That's a cracking M51 Rog, and a few faint background galaxies always adds something

The Sky 6 pro shows a good few in that field, I think there's one showing at about 8 O'clock that's mag 18.4 - PGC 2292105.
