[Touch wood] 😂 Yes! Actually, it's barely been run. I bought it just before I moved countries, so it has sat unused for 8 years. It will only be used as a lightweight file server so should still have a few years left in it!

Mine has been used everyday since buying during that mega cash back deal they ran. I also run it mostly as a simple file server/back up. Just wanted it to work with as little intervention as possible. Which it has admirably.

Ags
I picked up a reasonably priced second-hand Nirvana 4 mm. I had the 16 mm in this range and had a real love-hate relationship with it. I hear however the shorter focal lengths are better. This is my high power alternative to Svbony 3-8 zoom, that currently lives in the focusser. I'm thinking the wider field might do well for Luna or white-light solar.
jjohnson3803
Should be a used copy of the Cambridge Double Star Atlas arriving today. It was showing as "Out for delivery" yesterday, but it was a federal holiday so no postal deliveries.

cajen2
The latest (and probably last) addition to my Baader Morpheus collection - a 4.5mm. With all the usual excellent Baader packaging and extras: The only one I haven't got now is the 14mil: I already have a Pentax XW 14. I used all my Morphs at the SWAG star party under clear, dark skies and they were all superb.

Zermelo
Another eyepiece for me today. The SV190 is Svbony's version of the 10mm UFF. I'd noticed the price creeping gradually downwards over recent weeks, but hadn't been tempted as I already own the Celestron version (Ultima Edge). And that one has been a bit squeezed out by my 10mm BCO and 9mm Morpheus. Then last week I saw it offered on eBay for £16 posted, and thought it might be worth a punt, to see if perhaps I could use it with the Ultima as a binoviewer pair. It even came with a frameless IR/UV cut filter, though that will go straight into the bits and bobs drawer until I think of something to do with it. And here it is with the Celestron. Only their mother could tell them apart? 4
Mr Spock
You'll have to let us know what the 10mm is like. It's a different design to the rest of the range.

True, it has "only" five elements. Svbony did market the more complex 15mm and 18mm too, though I haven't seen them for sale recently.

DirkSteele
A few weeks ago I created a post to celebrate 10 years of my little astro website, Alpha-Lyrae which caused a few people to mention that my reviews had cost them money. Well some of you have returned the favour. As much as I love my APM LZOS 105 triplet which is airline portable, it’s a big lad, which requires a more robust mounting solution and I wanted a four inch scope which was a little more svelte so it could go on a smaller mount and tripod. So what is in the box above? It’s the FC-100DC. I am not naming names but @Stu, @JeremyS, @mikeDnight and @John all of whom have variations on this scope may have a question or two to answer! 😉 11

cajen2
Oh, no, I'm a Tak owner! I wanted a 1.25" quality diagonal with a twist lock fitting, mainly to save some weight over my otherwise excellent WO 2" one. The only one I could find was a Takahashi prism diagonal, so here it is. Slight difference in size and weight! (WO: 430g, Tak 132g). It makes sense as 10 out of 12 of my EPs are 1.25". mikeDnight
That's a great scope you have there Matthew. We're all glad to have been of assistance in relieving the internal pressure in your wallet of course. I'm sure you'll get over the financial shock eventually. 😂

It's optically excellent and quite a bargain considering it's by Takahashi, who normally expect you to sell at least one kidney before making a purchase. The only drawback can be with deep undercuts on some eyepiece barrels. Edited October 19, 2023 by mikeDnight

Yes, I was surprised at how 'cheap' it was, too: only £3 more than a WO one.
