The two pics of the whole moon were stacked from about 5 other frames in registax, it really is amazing the extra detail that pops out, especially when you mess with the levels and stuff... what a great piece of software!

Thanks Martin, yep these images used the wavelets in registax as well as the histogram functions and the contrast/brightness stuff, it really is a powerful bit of kit, it's just a pity its not more intuitive to use...

Yep, this was with the st80, the closeup was using a barlow all of them were taken using my Nikon Coolpix 4600 and a zoom eyepiece...
