Ganymede transit 18-07-2021

Just a few images and a so-so animation of the Ganymede shadow transit on 18-07-21.There is a bit of a jump in there where I dozed off for a few seconds then had to let the dogs out,😀 and frame to frame brightness varies so that needs more work.  The animation runs from 0129 to 0319ut.

Celestron 8se, basic EQ5 mount with dual axis drives, ASI 224, ADC, & 2x barlow.
Firecapture, AutoStakkert!3, Registax 6, Photoshop, Pipp for the animation.

Nice animation Angie. quite a long run there. Showing good detail on the moon too. Pulling a lot out for a 8" scope. Excellent detail around the GRS.

That’s astonishing!   Inspires me to try harder, i have never managed images as detailed as that with my 8SE, let alone put together such a cool animation!

Wonderful captures, I agree with the others... loads of detail anyway but especially for 8" aperture. Definitely worth spending some time getting the frames of the animation normalised.  Great work 👍👍👍
