Evening folks from a cloudy west yorkshire just thought I would say hello I currently have a skywatcher 200p recently fitted a telrad as I'm terrible at finding stuff and thought it would help however I'm clearly just incompetent 😂 been thinking over making an eq platform but I also lack any form of DIY skills 🙄

I think you may need a Celestial guidebook. This one will help you find lots of interesting objects by "Star Hopping."

Hi George, a warm welcome from me, don't rush to make an EQ platform, I don't like them and have swapped mine out for AZ mounts.  Love the beard, my son (aka The Bearded Barber) had one like that a few months ago but it was all cut off for charity.  Good luck & clear skies
