My best Jupiter. Season is over...

Hi friends,

For me, 2019 was a season of many attempts but few good opportunities for planetary imaging here in my city in Brazil.

This Jupiter was the best i got, in a good seeing night. Would like to share with you.

Hi Lucus,

It is a superb image, far better than anything I could even dream of from the UK this year, hence I did very little planetary imaging in 2019.

Best regards, Geof

Thank you very much Geof.

Here I had Jupiter at 88°, almost exactly in Zenith. What was the highest altitude he appeared to you? Maybe between 10 and 20°? It is not a fair comparison. 😂

I'm sure you could have great images If the planet was higher at your sky.

Hi Lucas, this year both Jupiter and Saturn were at max altitude of 16 degrees from my 52N location. I tried a couple of times but gave up ☹️

The is indeed amazing.  i have the same scope and can never get the planet to look so big--even with more multiplication of focal length (Power mates).  Never achieved the detail you have here--very NASAish.

Excellent image. I've had some good chances here in Fla but with limited equipment take what I get and am happy with that.

The season for Jupiter is over for a while. But in no time, we'll move back around and it will be there again, taunting us all.

Very very nice.. good to see that the GRS hasn't disintegrated yet.....

Thank you friend!

Yes, the GRS seems to be smaller each year past.  Now the size is about only some earths! 🤣

But we're happy because It is still very interesting in every shapes, movements and all alive activity!

Let's see what it brings to us in the next opposition!

Excellent image Lucas!
I also have a photo similar to that friend Ruud, but it was made from the assembly of one of mine, LOL.

Avani, esse cara é um artista! Kkkkk

Eu ficaria feliz se Júpiter tivesse 2 GRS!!

Ficaria ainda mais feliz em assistir a fusão dessas 2 GRS!! 🤓
