Is anything happening in white light?

Clear blue sky and some time!

I set up but with both camera and naked eye I can't see anything other than a perfect white circle!

Clouds here, but there's nothing but a tiny faculae near the East limb looking on the SoHo app.

A few days ago I thought I spotted a few tiny pores within an area of faculae  just west of centre, but haven't seen anything since

Blooming typical, nice big blue bits here no wind and nothing to see, last time we had some spots it was permacloud here

I feel your frustration... Wall to wall sunshine here in Hertfordshire today. New wedge to play with and an uncooperative Sun today...

Perhaps sunspots cause clouds?

Just got a completely blank disk in white light - can't even see an granulation   Blue sky is a nice change though!

that's what put me off - there's usually some hint of texture, even with just Baader film

seeing is not great but I'm out in the sun and have time to mess experiment with setting and the powermate.

I played around with filters, turning the sun all sorts of interesting colours. Still nothing.....

Ha had a few bits and pieces.

I had a kip in the sunshine. ???
