Stu
So, this is my first attempt at a solar image with my Canon 1000D as opposed to using my iPhone. This was the Tak FC-100, Herschel Wedge then an AP Barcon with a few extension tubes and a x2.5 PowerMate, trying to get enough focal length!! I tried a number of different settings, this was a single shot, 1/200th at ISO 400 I think. I sent it to my iPhone for processing in PS Express. Comments and gentle criticism welcomed ? Bizibilder
That is pretty good - The seeing was awful today so you have done well.

laudropb
You can't complain about the image Stu. Very nice detail, but you are now on the slippery slope .

Stu
Thanks all for the encouraging comments. This is another one from later in the day. It was at a slightly longer focal length, but in hindsight I think the seeing had fallen away further so it is not as sharp as the first. Still shows some change though.
