Hi all,

I'm another newbie, just saying hello...

A few years ago I did the UCL Astronomy certificate course - https://www.ucl.ac.uk/phys/admissions/certificate - recommended if anyone is interested. I have also worked my way through a few astronomy books and podcasts.

I have a Celestron NexStar 130 SLT and some 7x50 binoculars. I'm possibly/probably going to buy a Meade Lightbridge 12" (or something similar) some time soon.

(I'd also be interested to hear if anyone knows of any astronomy clubs around here)

There aren't any clubs in Brighton but there is Worthing Astronomers http://www.worthingastronomers.org.uk

I think that's the closest we're going to get unless we set one up!
