second set of shots as the seeing at first wasnt very good. taken with ED80,2XED barlow, 450d, iso 200, 118 frames staxed with regi,coloured in photoshop. theres a bit more going on today.ive done the invert different today with a bit of colour, not sure if i like it thanks for looking clear skys charl.

took another set of shots at 11am and the seeing now much better, 35 frames staxed. charl.

Very nice disks. It was actually clear here this morning and had first session since November. 4 planets and comet Catalina certainly brightened my day. Now it's cloudy again so no Sun. Oh well I suppose you can't have everything.

Thanks Charl. The comet is well worth the view. Found it quite quickly with Bins, but it was a bit more tricky with the Dob, but got there in the end. Beset of luck.

Nice image Charl, it enabled me to see the small spot to the bottom left of the main spot of AR2477 which I think is near the location of the bit of flaring activity I snapped on a pic I've just posted.  Many thanks.

thanks Dave, yer mate its amazing the difference a hour makes, trouble is any later than 11.30 am and its outa reach of me obsy window, i did think about fitting some kind mirror to the end of me scope but i think that would set a whole new set of problems like focusing ect. clear skys  charl.
