Stub Mandrel
My first post her. I'm interested in astrophotography. I think i've pushed my Nikon Brtidge camera near to it's limit with the photo on my avatar.i want to get some seriously shartp pictures like I've seen others get, so I'm, waiting for a Skywatcher 150PL to replace my Bresser 76mm refractor which wasn't bad if you got good seeing and don't push the magnification. Too wobbly for photo though. Two questions that I can't seem to find definitivce answers to despite much googling:1 - Registax 6 - it hangs a lot in Vista and Windows 8, and sometime refuse to stack at all. Should i try Registax 5 or is it fixed?2 - which webscam? The Philips SPC900/880 is obviously a first choice but seems as rare as hen's teeth what's agood second choice?ThanksStub

Stub Mandrel
Thanks Folks,I collected my Skywatcher 150PL this evening, all biots present and correct except the finderscope 0-ring. I am overwhelemed by the size of it - I expected teh EQ3 mount to be a little less robust...Neil
damnut
Hi Stub,Great scope to have, its always a bit of a shock how big it sits on a mount too. And when you get aperture fever, hope you have a big garage
