A big welcome N. No need to rush into buying a scope. The best time is when you are very certain

about what you want to do, and that could take a while. There a different types for different pursuits.

Many thanks for the kind welcome. I have to admit the range of scopes available is quite staggering, so I guess the old 7x50's will be seeing a fair bit of action in the meantime, till I settle on the right one. Watch this space!!
