Hi all. Just a few things about me. I live in Leeds, 65 years old, retired, (plenty of time to stargaze !!), and although I had a 'primitve' s'scope when I was young, I've just gone and acquired a Celestron 114eq.  Had it over a week and still haven't used it thanks to the weather !! Only problem so far is trying to get the necessary filters for it. (Solar & UHC/LPR), and getting a DSLR adapter.  Still, plenty of time for all that.
