You know, given a suitable office chair it's probably not beyond the wit of a suitably tooled-up bodger to make something like that.  Add an alt-az GOTO/tracking system such as you get on the Skywatcher dobs and you're sorted

Someone has done a DIY job using bicycle gears/chain and LiPo powered electric drills to shift the chair.

I had the use of one of the Australian "Starchairs" for a while  whilst modifying it to accept the owners' 25x150 Fujinons. You have to keep your feet on the ground to prevent it rocking or sit very still, it tilts back safely and is a good solution for a very large binocular, heavy, as is the price!
