Hi all. Showed some interest in astronomy as a kid but never went further than looking at what others posted. Finally got myself a telescope, just a beginners one to get a little closer to the stars myself. Up near edinburgh so hopefully the skies are kind to me and keep clear when my scope arrives. Just trying to find somewhere nearby away from all the light pollution.

Sadly it won't help you removing the ever present clouds we seem to be having at the moment tho.

Thank you to all for the welcome! Thanks lee for the map, benefit of living in Scotland is the abundance of dark rural areas, sadly I think we tend to have more clouds though lol!
