Hello everyone, I’m a retired man from Lincoln and was recommended to come here from FLO for information. I first started out in astronomy in the 70’s and had a second hand 60mm refractor. On my first evening I was looking at a star only to realise it was Saturn in all its glory. Not very big I must admit but that got the ball rolling.

I now have a seven year old Celestron C8-N on a CG-5 mount and would like to add motor drives to it. The problem is I can’t find any. Is there any way I could adapt some EQ5 motors for it or am I barking up the wrong tree.
