Good Morning everybody.

My name is Clive and I'm new to the forum. 

I live in South Oxfordshire in the UK

I've had an interest in astronomy for about 36 years after my Dad bought me a 60mm Tasco refractor for my birthday. hooked off an on from then on.

A high point was a 16" Dobsonian. 

Looking to get back into observation with a a short focus 102mm achromatic refractor. Might even look into web cam use too!

Anyway, I'll have loads off questions about the above, so apologies in advance.

Morning Clive, warm welcome to SGL. They're a good bunch on here. No need to apologise about having questions - I've found the people here love to offer up ideas and thoughts. There are some great conversations when someone throws in the bait of posting something along the lines of "what's the best telescope for under £250". A q like that is like chumming for sharks round here! Loads of fun. Enjoy!
