Hello everyone. I'm a 31 y/o newbie astronomer from Glasgow, Scotland; I've been interested in astronomy for as long as I can remember but my desire to delve deeper into observation was kindled, strangely enough, by reading some Dante in the last couple of years. I am now out to get my first 'scope, which I've already posted about that in the "Getting Started With Observing" section. I was excited by and appreciative of all the replies I received, so thank you all.

Just a small note to introduce myself and to wish you all the best of luck with your skygazing!
