Glad u all had a good time nice photos every one. Looks like u had same conditions as I had. Started out really clear and then clouded over but still got a good view.

How did ur filter work Paul ?mine worked a treat just don't know how to get photos on here [emoji5]️

There's a button to the bottom right of the reply box that says more reply options. Click that then button bottom left that say's choose file and you can then select one out of your pic's

My plan for a movie animation came to naught. Blummin clouds!

But I did get a few nice shots with the camera and the views were impressive with my 1500mm focal length F30 newtonian :grin:

Absolute knife edge contrast at that F ratio using any of my eyepieces, but it looked great as a full disk using the 38mm panaview. Even had a few of the ossett academy 6th form viewing through the dob as they slowly made their way to school (presumably very late for school!) and most of my neighbours that werent at work had a gander too.
