I'm extremely new to this forum and not sure what its all about but i'm just saying hello :-)

anybody from lincoln, UK, going to be watching the meteor showers tonight? if so, where will you be watching from? just trying to get ideas where the best place is to go :)

Hi Claire and welcome to the forum. The best place is to go is anywhere that is away from light pollution - easier said than done I know! :grin:

Best of luck today and lets hope the skies stay clear as it might be a good show.

Welcome Clairib I am in Lincoln and the sky here last night was lovely and clear the Wife and I sat out and watch for a couple of hours Unfortunatly we only spotted 28 meteor's But I did get two hours observing before that. We seem to get some good sky's in Lincoln ( at present ) Enjoy your new hobby it can become additive but fascinating.
