Hi there

Ive been looking around here for a while, and have finally decided to take the plunge! Everyone on this site seems very knowledgable, and passionate about this finest of hobbies! I will hopefully be purchasing a new Astromaster 130mm (Celestron) in the next few weeks and hope to have many a clear sky for some great viewing (apparantly there's a comet about, so i am sure that is one of the first objects my scope swings to...after the obligatory first viewing of The Moon and Planets that is :D ) As this telescope is brand spanking new i have not been able to find out too much information on it, except from the manufacturers description, but it seems like an ideal scope for a newbie! So after i have found my feet with it i hope to write a bit about how im finding it.
