First guided M42

So, I had my first crack at M42 at 600s exposure. I'd intended to get some short exposures for the core the same night but they had to wait for another week thanks to the weather. Processing the images gave me an introductory lesson to composites in photoshop. For a first attempt, I don't think it's come out too badly - although criticism is welcome!

Thanks a lot guys. =]

That's impressive! Did you manage to do that with an unmodified camera? Amazing!

Yep, unmodded camera. It took quite a bit of work in Photoshop, particularly paying a lot of attention to curves, tweaking the red and blue channels in particular areas.
