Just a quick hello, just started my latest hobbie with intent to get into astrphotography, I have been doing a bit of lunar camera shots but have Ben inspired by all the great photos out there to push my limits. I have a 12" f5 skywatcher on an eq6 pro, brought on eBay second hand never used for a bargain price, the scope is too big but I love the visuals it produces,it was a package and well under the price of just the scope.

Learning heaps from the forum and hopefully in a few years will have knowledge and experience I to can share.

Hi and welcome

My brother-in-law used to live in Newcastle - near Lake Macquarie (have I spelt that right ?)

Went to visit years ago and remember there being nice dark skies
