The cloud is almost gone here in Somerset, Jupiter just coming clear.

This is my first Autumn/Winter season - how nice is it to be out so early for a change!

Still cloudy in Weymouth, but it looks like it's starting to break up and sat 24 looks good....reckon it should be clear in an hour or so....fingers crossed !!

It's clear here - I'm overlooking the sea in Charlestown nr St Austell tonight which is south facing and skies are nice and dark.

My scope is at home in the west midlands!!!

50% cloud again, but on the satellite it looks clear shortly, and as it's clear for Haitch I'm leaving everything up and running.

Forecast was for clear skies today. Was clear here for a while just as I came out of work. Just got kids off to bed but clouds have rolled back in now.

Dewing is crazy in these parts! Have been out tonight already, but plan to pop out a little later on the see Orion for the first time this season (It feels like the right time to start studying it.)

Amazing. I'm currently borrowing my eldest son's (9) scope which, to be honest, I bought without any research (76/300/made of cheese) but, even so, I've just seen two bands on Jupiter. Truly breathtaking!

Scope out the last couple of hours. next to no dew on my refractor! Quite bright out though, could be a little darker. Very nice M45, Double Cluster and 31

Plenty of dew, but none inside the scope (keeping cap on and horizontal between stepping out to observe/nipping inside to warm up).

Got onto Alamak - first time and can say its a beauty: Lovely large orange star with tiny blue companion!

Jupiter is getting better by the hour.

Telrad really giving its moneys worth tonight, and skies are best I have had yet.
