Hello, I have just brought a new telescope, EXPLORER-130EM 130mm (5.1") f/900 Newtonian Reflector with RA motor drive, and am a complete novice, I am hoping there will be kind folks here who will help me get the best use of my telescope by answering the really basic questions on how to get started

Welcome to SGL Chris. Nice little scope you've got yourself.

You need have no worries, all the help you need is here in abundance, so just ask your questions in the Beginners Help section of the forum.

hi and welcomefrom me ,you on a trip of a life time.that at times will make you want to scream with joy, and at other times you will wish you had a good hat to stop you pulling ya hair out gloves hat and a scarf will also be needed autumn/winter is on its way
